We recommend Geneva airport. This is the most popular choice due to the frequent flights and shared transfer options.

Self Drive

Driving is a great way of getting to la Plagne, especially if you live in the South of England. It takes approximately 9h 30mins to reach la Plagne from Calais. Covered parking is available at the hotel and must be booked in advance. Free outdoor parking is also available around the hotel.

Snow Train

Possibly the best way to visit la Plagne from the UK is by train as the transfer time from the station at Aime La Plagne to la Plagne is only 25 minutes. The return leg of the journey starts in Bourg St Maurice, just 40 minutes from the Rhododendrons.

The advantage of using the direct Friday overnight train service from London or Ashford International to Aime La Plagne is that it gives you 8 days on the slopes instead of the 6 which you normally get when flying.

Please note that although not much further, Lyon transfers are slightly more expensive due to the toll roads. Cheapest private transfers are from Chambéry. Most regular and shared transfers are from Geneva and due to the many cheap flights in to Geneva this is the preferred airport.
